HLP have been involved in the revitalisation of Anfield for over ten years, first preparing a comprehensive masterplan and design code in conjunction with a design working group of stakeholders representing various interests.  The new architecture is based on a contemporary interpretation of the form, scale and detail of the former Victorian neighbourhood.  The layout includes a hierarchy of boulevards, avenues and streets along with an open space network.

Detailed plans were developed in accordance with the Masterplan and Design Code to provide seventy family houses for sale and for rent.

Following the success of the Anfield / Breckfield Masterplan and Design Code, HLP secured planning permission for Phase II.

Included in the design is a new urban square which will incorporate material salvaged from demolition and the first part of the proposed new boulevard which will act as a spine for the development.  

In accordance with the code, the design includes polychromatic brickwork reinterpreting the character of the Victorian neighbourhood and establishing a new sense of identity for the redeveloped neighbourhood.
